Wednesday is a holiday for me. So today I had put a few extra chores on my to do list. Making ghee from the collected cream over a month was one of them. So we get the fresh home made butter before boiling them to make ghee. I always keep some of these home made butter as husband loves them. My grandmother would make these fresh butter weekly and that is one of my fond memories. She called me little Krishna as I loved those butter and I even did steal it during afternoon like Krishna would do.My grandma would make small tiny balls of those butter and sprinkled some sugar on it. We relished it Today I just had those memories flashing in. I couldn't resist myself. I made the same kind of balls and me and my husband relished it as our dessert after lunch Well it seems that the child in us never leaves us. I felt nostalgic. I could actually see my grandmother's loving smile when she would give us those treats. I might become a grandma myself in other decade but it seems the child in me is still so alive The picture is of those butter balls with sugar that we just enjoyed.

I guess there is a deeper meaning to thte title of Little Krishna. By the way, Jaya said that she couldn't comment on your posts due to technical issue.

Yes. Krishna was loved by all and was well known for his childhood mischiefs. I was very mischievous in childhood. Moreover being her only granddaughter I got special attention. She had all grandsons. Jana is getting blocked again and again. I have unblocked her many times. It's a glitch and I have raised the issue with admin too.

You are so right. Though it takes time and effort, the taste and texture of homemade butter is too good.

Yes. I shared a very deep and special bond with my grandma. She was main primary care taker. She was amazing.

It happens with me too. But then it's better to do it once in a week or at least in a month.

It's lovely to have these memories. And it's good to let our inner child out from time to time.

Yes. I feel that child within us is the one who actually enjoys life. I read somewhere.. " A creative happy adult is a child who survived "".
