Is it a Ghost?

Mysterious things are happening again. I live alone so I know that another person is not doing them unless someone is living in my house. There is no room for that.
I have a rocking chair in the living room. I hear it creaking and look over to see it rocking by itself. I grab the phone and take a series of photos to see if I can film whatever is making the chair rock. There is never anything extra in the photo.
The other day, I went out. When I came back, my roll of toilet paper was missing. It was not where I usually keep it. I still have not found it.
Things are disappearing, especially food items.
What do you think is going on here? Is someone invisible living here or is it a ghost? Do you know of any ghosts or mysterious happenings around you?

It is possible that it is a mischievous spirit creature. They can even take the form of someone you know and talk with their voice. It is best to leave them alone and tell them to go away.

@akalinus You may not have heard voices yet but others have. These spirits have power to move objects.

@1hopefulman Do you hear voices? I lose a lot of things around here and then they show up later right in the spot that I searched without finding them. It is insanity.

The rocking chair that is moving by itself sounds like a ghost. Strange things happened in our old house especially in the basement. We had left a bucket next to the sink, and when we came back we found the bucket in the middle of the room. None of us moved it, and no one else had been in the basement.

@akalinus Yes, it is strange. My friend's mother experienced it, too. At first I thought that she was joking when she told me that things disappeared or showed up in strange places, but when I was at her house I also experienced it.

@Porcospino I believe it. It happens here all the time. It makes me crazy. When my son lived with me, we would both search for things and could not find them. Then they showed up in a spot that was searched thoroughly before. It is similar to missing people who show up in an area already searched many times.

Hmmm... well, if the ghost eats her food, it would make sense that it would need to uhm... use her facilities later on, right? And if the ghost gets tired of floating around making spooky sounds, it makes sense that he would need to get off his feet once in a while.

@Shivram59 Someone said to do a cleansing. How do you do that? I think I read that you burn sage and wave the smoke into every corner of the house. Have you heard of that?

Well people don’t have the power to be invisible so i wouldn't put it past a ghost they do love to cause trouble to the living. Most of it is y’all just for fun or attention.

Sometimes, I wonder if someone else is living in here. There is absolutely no place to do that. I have no attic, no basement.
Now, my neighbor thinks someone is living under her trailer and she calls me at night to look out my window to see if someone is around. A couple of times I took a flashlight and looked all around her place and saw nothing.

Honestly, Jo Ann, it sounds more like you have an Earthly visitor than that you have a ghost, this time.
Let me ask you a question or two... You are renting the place where you live, right?
Does a landlord in Florida have the legal right to check in and around the house you're renting from him without notifying you before he does that? In Missouri, the landlord must give 24 hour notice before he can come into a house he owns that he is renting to you. (As long as he has given notice, usually by sending the tenant a letter through the mail, the landlord can enter whether the renter is home at the time or not.) I know different states may have different rules on that type of thing.
It would be a bit odd if your landlord is going into your house and picking himself up something to snack on, but stranger things have happened.
Next time the rocking chair starts rocking by itself, use the video function on your phone to take a video of the chair rocking by itself, then post that on your YouTube channel and give us the link so we can see it, too, please.

I have tried taking photos, I will try the video function when it happens again and will youtube it if it shows anything unusual.
I live in a camper with a room attached. I bought it outright for less than you would pay for a used car. I pay rent to live here and if the manager has ever been here, I don't know about it.

If it were me, I'd do a cleansing to get rid of any spirits that might have wandered in.

There are things that cannot be explained by normal situations but paranormal phenomenon may have the answers.

@florelway That really creeps me out, thinking of someone in here when I'm not home. There is nowhere to live in here without me noticing but that would alarm me even more. I have heard of such things happening though.

@akalinus it can be scary too knowing there could be somebody else's doing it.

It looks like it could be a ghost, I think just don't try to talk to it, you can put some incense with the intention of purifying the place and it'll work! and at least it's not doing any harm to you

@samysotelo18 I am writing a novel very loosely based on family history. One of the people in it burnt a lot of incense.

@akalinus Incense is very noble, you'll be happy.
and that's so cool, how are you incorporating it to your novel?
