The Eagles are an American rock band formed in 1971 in Los Angeles. Band members are Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner. They were active 1971-1980, 1994-2016 and 2017-present.
They have had 5 #1 singles, 6 #1 albums, 6 Grammy Awards and 5 American Music Awards. The Eagles were one of the most successful musical acts of the 1970s. They have sold more than 200 million records, making them one of the world's best-selling bands. Their music genres are rock, country rock, soft rock and folk rock.
Some of their hits: Take It Easy, Witchy Woman, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Desperado, Tequila Sunrise, On the Border, Best of My Love, One of These Nights, Lyin' Eyes and Hotel California (below).
