Good morning everyone! Yes, I know it is late morning and early afternoon for some in the United States and others are fast asleep in other parts of the world. I'm determined to squeeze this post in though before noon my time.
We had a quick breakfast of toast with homemade Elderberry jelly with hot coffee this morning. It's chilly this morning with the cold front moving through.
I'm wondering where is the rain that was promised with this front and I'm pulling up radar right now. It is currently 48 degrees outside with wind gusts of 10mph. We were supposed to have rain during the night and throughout the day. Rain hasn't really hit us yet, but I see some light rain moving in on the radar.
Temperatures are dropping to mid 30's as opposed to original forecast of mid 40's. I am not happy about that little change, but I can't do anything about it other than fire up the heater.
No big plans today. I have to make a post office run to mail Ebay package and then we will work on warming this place up since the temperature is dropping though the afternoon.
How is this cold front affecting your area? Is is going to be colder than projected for your area also?

@crazyhorseladycx Brrr is right! We get the 70's back later next week. I'll be happy with the 60's for a few days. Much better than 40 something with a wind.

I do, but not enough to make jelly with. My daughter's father in law makes jelly. He makes mayhaw, elderberry, blackberry, muscadine, satsuma (nobody liked that one but good to cook with). No telling what he has up his sleeve for next flavor.

The cold front sat right on top of us on Friday, which made for a cool day, but also made for a drizzling, ugly kind of day. Fortunately, the cold front finally pushed through overnight, and Saturday was beautiful but windy.

Temperature here too has dropped. We anyway have a pleasant weather through out year. It's never too hot or too cold here in this city.

@kareng Yes that is a plus point of this place but it comes with its own flaws.
