I think no one will dislike or unhappy by the gesture. But wait; is there really such thing as free? This is my thought when an acquaintance hand me this pack of chocolate brownies. Yes, it sounded free because if I’m going to buy this product it surely takes some of my hard earned money. But, I realized that while I never spent a single cent getting this item, the truth of that is the person let me to do a favor by making a certification on her behalf. So in consideration of the service rendered, that would be my compensation.

@ZedSmart Research about La Verdad Christian College Caloocan or Apalit. Maybe for projects, yes, you will still spend money or for transportation. But the school offers free tuition fees, free lunch, free uniforms and you don't have any miscellaneous fees to pay.

Where is that? Even public schools in places I know would ask for donations from their students in cash or kind.

I love if I will be treated free dinner. Several years back, med reps from different companies would treat us dinner, movies, and even out-of-town trips but we should promote their products to buyers and it should have proof-of-purchase.

I think most of us like getting something for nothing but it doesn't happen very often.
