The Plank & The Speck

I've heard the saying: "Take the plank from your own eye before trying to take the speck from someone else's eye." It's great advice that we all need reminded of at times.
It brings me to my main post:
Earlier I was on Facebook witnessing a comment exchange.
One guy said "right wing nuts will love this" in reference to a post.
Then later, the same guy rebuked someone else for name calling,
pointing out essentially that it was childish.
While he makes a good point that it's childish, it's like he didn't even notice that he himself was guilty of the same behavior he was rebuking. It can be easy to want to point out the wrong behavior of others while ignoring our own.

Everyone needs to take a step back when making a comment on social media. How will your comment be taken by the masses?
