Today I will be stitching a gift for my daughter's Christmas tree. She wants a "My First Christmas" ornament for it and I think this one looks good. It will just be matter of doing it in blue thread. Besides this I will be stitching the ones I am making for online to sell. Of course, I will be here on MyLot as much as possible and writing a hub for Hubpages. I will be taking a day off from working on my book. It is such a beautiful day that I will be sitting in the screen room enjoying the outdoors. It is 72 degrees out here and I am loving it. I hope everyone out there is happy and healthy and have fun on this beautiful day.

72 sounds glorious. I like the cross-stitch pattern. We are hunkering down to get ready for the winter storm that's approaching. We could get over 8".

@LindaOHio I am glad you didn't get the boatload of snow you were expecting. The snowbelt is one area I wouldn't want to be.

It is a beautiful day. The sun isn't shining, that would be a bad day, seriously. Wind chills are far worse when the sun shines. It is currently 20 and feels like 9. I have my heavy woolen socks on. We aren't expecting snow today, but we weren't either when we had it during the Packers game yesterday. So, yes, it's a beautiful day. That's a lovely project for your daughter.

@HazySue It's warmed up. The 40s today. My snow is melting. At least I don't need my woolen socks. My feet are barefoot.

what I wouldn't give for 72 degrees!!!!! Sounds perfect. That ornament will be wonderful! I'm learning to make quilted ornaments now and I hope that this time next year I'll be making a little bit of money selling them.

That's a really good idea and being able to sell your work is really great too. I have never really thought or considered anybody would buy my Christmas cards.

Love your stitching and I'm sure your daughter will be pleased with the finished ornament. What a wonderful keepsake. Enjoy your day! It's sunny but cold here today. No more sitting outside until next spring
