Pecan Waffles for Brunch

Have been busy doing laundry and other thing inside. Just ate my breakfast / brunch. Waffles with butter, syrup and topped with pecans pieces.
One of my favorites, especially when I am running late with eating.
The Dude and Brendel have been in the screen room for only a few minutes soaking up sunshine. But the temperatures are still chilly, only in the low 40s F.
They are doing a lot of sleeping today. Nothing unusual about that.

@CarolDM Today was a bit better and went out for a bit. I went to the farmer's market which is inside and got some nice apples.

i swear yer gonna make me break down' n gimme a waffle iron! i'm droolin', e'en though i couldn't partake'n such't the moment. the resident pup 'n resident cat 'f not left my side the past few days. if'n i'm sittin', cat 'tis'n my lap snoozin', the pup 't my feet.
