A Problem With Pixabay

I have been using pictures from Pixabay for months now without a problem.
All of a sudden 95% of the pictures are coming up webp (web page?) instead of jpeg; and I can't use them. Does anyone know what is going on with that? Do the settings need to be changed?
I have been using Free Images instead for the time being. Can anyone help?

I found answers on the Pixabay Forum. You have to click on the picture which takes you to another page, click on the green download button, pick a size; and then download as a jpeg. EXCEPT that the smallest size is quite large. I don't know why this has changed; but I will be able to download pictures now (if I can use a larger pic).

You can download the large picture and resize it online. Even easier, download the .webp, go to this site and convert it to jpg

Maybe the site wanted to have a copyright to the pictures so no more jpeg format.

i liked photobucket for a long time. Do you have amazon prime? If you do they give you free space for your pictures!

I thought it was my new computer that was the problem. I had to upload an app and make the conversion. It's a pain but I have no choice as I like adding pictures to my posts.
