Today, in my state, the day is celebrated in which a little board appeared with the image of the Virgin of Chiquinquira on Lake Maracaibo since its apparition is celebrated with great duty, its day come devotees from all over the country to its procession and it is venerated, there are big parties, masses and everything in big. Do you have something like that in your state venerate someone?

In our country we call that fiesta as a celebration of the patron saint of the town.

@Aleskys just the same here. Most rural towns have the feast day of the Virgen for their holiday.
