Radio news has it that students and pro-democracy protesters have gathered at Polytechnic University of Hongkong, apparently unyielding to the government's stern and suffocating leash-like treatment of its citizens.
The civil unrest started months ago but as of yesterday, the tension has brought ban on travel advisories, tourists discouraged to fly Hongkong.
Hongkong's constituents are actually a solid act. The babies born when the United Kingdom turned Hongkong to China have grown up, and they do nike the repression China has imposed on them.
The protestations has gone long enough. Yet, the youth won't budge. A protester has been shot and in critical condition.
And this reminds us only of many incidents in history that claimed the lives of the young. Like this French uprising.
Red and Black Song -Les Miserables 2012 Soundtrack- This is one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. The conflict between love and revolution.. Hope you...

This protest is not going to die soon. A revolution is underway and China has to gracefully accept it.

Not China. China is asserting its power for world domination. China has gained access to my country, too. Hu hu
And when I was complaining months back, our fellow mylotter Peter Ang said that I could be assured the invasion is not from Hong Kong. Now, Hong Kong is imperiled.

That was the question in the song Blowing in the Wind that a handicapped young man sang for then Pope John Paul II.
At the end of the song, the Pope addressed the query, and said, it's not blowing in the wind when we rest our cares in Christ, the Lord.

Oooopsie Daisies. Nope. There is a mistake there. This person rallies at Jupiter Street in Makati, where the Embassy of China is, shouting Layas, China!
In fact, I am boycotting Mulan.

I would like to see the elders leave their comfort zones and join in on this revolution. Support the youth in their fight for freedom, rights and fairness.

Months back, an manager of a company was ordered to give a list of names in the company's employ who joined the rally. He didn't. He resigned. And joined the students.
