"One" is done, but I'm having a problem...

The other morning before I went to work, I finished the first chapter of the new story I'm writing--so soon I'll type it up and send it to my friend.
Unlike the last story I wrote, though--with this one, for the life of me I can't think of a title--or for that matter a title for the first chapter. I know, not all book/story chapters have titles, but as far as story or chapter titles I can't think of either.
Mostly as far as story titles go, can any writers out there share what they do? The last story I wrote was super easy, as it was about a family--to make a long story short (yes, pun, sorry....)--so I just used the family name. This one is a smidgen more--complicated?--it's about a family, too--but the last one was about someone "discovering" their family. This one is--well, sort of an established family that gains a new member. There's more to it than that, but...
Ugh.
Maybe I'll think of titles as I'm typing the story up. I'd like to do so before I send the first chapter to my friend.
Any writers out there ever have this problem? I'd love any ideas how to solve it !

Write a list of titles and keep it handy. You can use them as a reference for the future. There is a television series I think called An American Family. Basic title. But it worked for that show.

I've since come up with titles for both the story and the chapter. Good advice, though.
