I discovered some cooked check peas in my freezer and I have tahine in the fridge. So I will make hummus for tomorrow night.
The more I think about tomorrow´s food, the more I decide on the awesome Spanish tapas. The tapas are small bites of just about anything. They serve then at bars with a glass of red wine. Groups of people go in Spain from bar to bar, eating, drinking and talking. Joy is everywhere while they all talk at the same time.
Tomorrow, one of the tapas will be hummus as the sauce for either bread or crackers.
It will not be a silent night not we will go hungry

I love chick peas. I've never had a good hummus. I'd like to try yours.

I have 4 cans of chickpeas. I have never made hummus. Is tahini required or can I make hummus a different way? I'd appreciate your opinion!

Tahini is half the recipe. And I have never made it with canned chickpeas, but I suppose they can be done. I gave my recipe to Coral ( @TheSojourner ). Scroll up.

I cut up old bread and dry it in the oven. It is wonderful.
