Continuing my series of unusual hacks to make our life a little more efficient. Have you tried any of these Life Hacks (Tips)? 1. DRYER SHEETS AND ODOR CONTROL- to rid your room of awful odors in summer tape a dryer sheet over the AC unit with it running. 2. SUNGLASSES TIP FOR PHONE WATCHING- tired of holding your phone while watching You Tube videos or other programming. Try using your sunglasses as a prop to lean your phone against. 3. Egg Carton Storage Trick- need to organize and store your Christmas decorations. The egg carton shape should fit many of those Holiday shaped ornaments. Just pack and close! Who thinks of these things? Might be worth seeing if they work... A Life "hack" refers to any trick, shortcut, skill, or novelty method, that increases productivity and efficiency in all walks of life according to Wikipedia. Source- www.lifehack.org Photo-

Yes, and sometimes money savers like #2 which I know you can appreciate Jim Egg cartons instead of going out and buying small plastic bins to store them.

@dgobucks226 Very true. Although, I cannot watch TV on my phone no matter how I prop it. Just way too small a screen to enjoy anything.

The egg carton storage works for small Christmas decorations. We have no AC so I do not know about the first one.

@dgobucks226 You can also cut in half (or in 3) the inside of the toilet paper, place inside a big box and this is perfect to store Christmas ornaments and a bit bigger than the other solution.

Have not tried #1. As you said with certain size ornaments cartons work well and saves on buying little storage bins for the ornaments. Plus, they can be stacked too!

I hadn't thought of the egg carton trick, but it would surely only be useful for the smaller ornamnts shaped out of gingerbread men, trains, wreaths, and stockings. Definitely not the baubles.

Yes, I think so too. But I do have small sized ornaments I use on a smaller artificial tree so it should work out fine for those. Thanks for your comment AmberLynn

@dgobucks226 I no longer have smaller ornaments, but then I don't have a tree either. I used to have a tree made out of horseshoes and I had cowboy boot ornaments to put on it.

I definitely agree Oshy! I thought the sunglasses one was creative but probably not one I use. I have used the egg cartons to store my excess golf balls and they work great so will give the ornament idea a try...

Yes, I thought so true! Will definitely be trying that one. As a golfer, I also use the cartons for storing my extra golf balls

Yes Carol, a great little trick and cheaper than buying small storage containers for them.
