@youless The big problems of Venice started when they modified some canals to let the big cruise ships in. Stupidity of those politicians who wanted to make more money from tourism. Now the foundations of Venice have been damaged by the waves caused by those ships. Just BAN them before it's too late!

When we experienced the worst flood in history, our suspicion is the climate change, global warming or whatever but for sure there was too much rain in that September of 2009. Maybe that is also the case in Venice.
