Did'ja e'er witness such?

Firstly, my 'pologies to any folks my absence caused worry fer. 'tis been a special kind'a crazy 'round here fer o'er a week. No time fer puterin' which's set me way 'hind. Lost all notifications prior to the 20th 'f November. So, if'n ya asked me somethin' 'n ne'er got a response, that'd be the reason. Nary a clue what to do 'bout 't...outside 'f jest move ferward.
Anyhow, 't the crack 'f pre-dawn thirty this past Wednesday, we headed to get the hubs shoulder operated'n. Hit some rain patches's the sun made 'ts debut 'cross the vast grasslands. Darkened skies'n the distant south looked rather menacin'.
Then "it" happened. The birth 'f a double rainbow right 'fore our eyes! The one'n the right 'd a most interestin' glow from 'ts base, which grew's 't did. Thinkin' this 'twas a rare phenom, I snapped 'way with my crappy camera phone. Nopers, not e'en 25 minutes later ('pparently they'd 'nother patch 'f rain there to the south) yet 'nother set 'ppeared.
Don't reckon'n all my years I've e'er seen the birth 'f a rainbow. I saw such's a sign, enhanced by the 2nd batch 'f doubles. A calmness o'ercame, perhaps'n omen that all 'twas gonna be 'lright. Perhaps that Mr. Red 'd finally made his long journey cross that 'bridge' 'n 'd finally joined all those that've gone 'fore.
'pologies fer the awful pics'n the collage. kind'a hard to snap pics 'twixt pourin' rain whilst drivin' 70mph 'long the highway.
've ya e'er seen the birth 'f a rainbow? Seen one glow'n such a fashion? 'twas mesmerizin', so glad the hubs drove, lol.

There you are, so good to see you! I have seen a double rainbow but never got photos. Wow these are stunning. Sounds like you were getting a sign from above maybe. No need to apologize, the photos are awesome.

yes ma'am, been too busy fer puterin'. hoped folks'd understand. 'twas quite the shock 'n most humblin' to watch these 'ppear 'fore my eyes. so glad the hubs drove there, lol. otherwise, i'd missed these pics to share.
surgery went well, we presume. more 'xtensive than they'd thought from what we gather.

@CarolDM thanks, hon. glad y'all do coz i'm still confused, lol. won't know much 'til he goes the 3rd to get those staples out. know the damage 'twas more'n a torn rotator cuff, jest dunno the 'xtent. prognosis fer recovery, rehab needed 'n when he can go back to work. i'm gonna be selfish, but dang i need some quiet time!

Wow, that is the shot of a lifetime. Never seen the birth of a rainbow ever! I have encountered many after a storm though.

yes ma'am, that'd be fer certain! 'twas so glad to 've e'en the crappy camera'n my phone. 'tis one thingy to see such, 'nother when ya can sorta share the 'xperience with others. don't see many rainbows out this way coz 't most oft storms'n the evenin', darkness comes 'n then't quits. i've fingers crossed to witness the birth 'f more :) most magical!

@crazyhorseladycx I'm eagerly waiting for some snow and then some sun = great pictures. Not a lot of rainbows in the winter for obvious reasons :-) but it's only a few months til spring.
I fear we will first get some rain and then not just some snow, since everyone's preparing for being burried this weeked. Might get interesting. I should maybe tell my father I need the car with 4 wheel drive.

@Torunn i've got the snow if'n ya can bring the sun we'll go see what we can find to snap pics 'f, k? a rainbow with a snowstorm here'd not surprise me one iota, lol. we've 'd thundersnow, complete with hail stones'n january. jest a few months 'til spring? seems'n eternity to me. we're prone to gorgeous weather (false spring) 'n then a blizzard, hard freezes likely 'til 't least the 1st 'f may.
yes ma'am, ya might wanna borrow that. i'm hopin' to make 't safely to my momma's fer turkey day. not fer certain what's 'nder the snow passed my place. know there 'twas some freezin' rain first'n some parts. ought'a be interestin'. the pup aint sure where she's 'pposed to sit'n the big truck. she's 'lways rode'n the backseat 'n the hubs's got that full 'f 'schtuff'. took her to town monday. she purty much sat with her butt'n the console, front feet'n the seat. hyperventilatin' the whole way. bless her...

good eve! oh, ya would'a loved seein' these, 'twas spectacular to watch 'em crest the horizon. still puzzled 'bout the 'glow' 'f the ones'n the right, such happened with both sets.
bummer 'bout'cher cloudy weather, hon. 'twas a blustery day here. winds sustained 't 39mph, gustin' to 65mph. 'bout all that could be seen 'twas brown skies 'n garbage flyin'. i so despise the neighbors down the road..

oh, i wish ya could'a seen such'n person! mind-blowin' :) kinda diff'cult to snap decent pics whilst rainin' 'n bouncin' down the highway, lol. couldn't get the full arcs without stoppin'.

Then those are truly impressive @crazyhorseladycx I'm rarely a passenger so I haven't a clue how hard that might be but I do know how hard it would be to try whilst drivin.

I wouldn't dare try @crazyhorseladycx I only have one good eye and that needs to stay on the road ahead of me ..... I have been thinking of getting a dash camera just for kicks though.

i 've seen doubles 'fore, e'en this past summer. jest've ne'er seen the 'birth' 'f one, nor the brilliant light comin' from one. 'twas a day surgery fer the hubs. surgery went well, we suppose. won't get more info 'til the 3rd. we didn't get to speak with the doc 'fter surgery 'n the nurses were more 'nterested'n gettin' us the heck out'ta there to 'xplain much 'f anythin'.

've ya e'er seen one bein' born? i've seen many doubles'n my lifetime (e'en 've pics 'f quite a few), but've ne'er seen 'em start. 'twas truly somethin'!
