He Feels Peace and Tranquility

Talked to my uncle a few minutes ago. He was a chatter box. I just listened, as always. I asked how he was feeling... He said I am feeling nothing but peace and tranquility. And to top it off, he said I am surrounded by a beautiful bunch of women. And then he laughed and laughed. Made my day to hear him so upbeat. His nurse and aide were both there. Those are the women he was referring to. I am so glad he has good caregivers around him, and they all get along and have his interest at heart. This is how it should be. Not always the case. But he is happy. Always enjoy the conversations with my sweet uncle. I always feel like I also have talked to my Dad when I hang the phone up. My words for the day are Peace and Tranquility. It is nice when you notice that a loved one who was not at all pleasant changes his attitude maturity is late but arrives.

warms my heart to read 'f yer visit, hon. so glad he's folks there that take such great care 'f him. no doubt such helps ya quite a bit, too. less worry coz yer correct, such's not 'lways the case.

Yes, he is 90, lost wis wife in July, and has dementia. His body is ok, just his mind comes and goes.
