Eerie Incident

At around 2:00 this morning, I was about to set aside my paperwork and be prepared for bedtime when I felt a strange incident. I’m not sure what was it or how to describe the incident. I thought an earthquake is happening in our place although it only trembles once. It was quick and like coming from a sudden blow of a strong wind in the structure where you are with a sound like something has fallen. I would like to believe an explosion occurred but nothing was reported. Perhaps, that would explain that eerie thing but that’s not the case. I browsed my social media pages and learn that people within the area who were still awake that time noticed the same.

Must have been an earthquake but a very small one. Everytime I fee shaking I always look around like doors and other objects that may be shaking. If they are then it is earthquake. Usually a door partially open might close and open when there is an earthquake.

@ZedSmart Does your local geological office detected that and got the reading of how strong the intensity is?

Thankfully that it only hit once because it's strong. If it's repeated for another more seconds, that would be horrible.

@JustBhem I think there's no new on this. I checked phivolcs record but none was reported. But other people in the locality noticed it too. Majority did not feel the incident because they're on the sleep.

More likely and I would like to believe. Is it possible that a quake would just have one shake?
