Not Aware with Unwanted Visitor

I don’t like and feared this little creature and I always avoided contact with them. Whenever I found one anywhere in the house setting, I drove them away and at any chance, killed them. It is said that its bite is very painful but little did I know if it’s harmful to human.
Last night, I rearranged the pots of plants placed in front of the house. After the tasks, I was about to enter on the door when suddenly I felt something is crawling in my leg. I thought it was just an ant because while performing the task, I also stepped ants in the area and they’re quick to spread on my feet and bite it. I stomp my feet on the floor without bothering to look what was it but it wasn’t remove so I swipe it by hand. Only then I knew that it’s a centipede upon landing on the floor and quickly crawling fast and maybe afraid to catch.

Old folks say that the "alupihan" or centipede has venom in its bit so we kids were too scared of that. But I really don't know if they are that harmful to humans.

@ZedSmart I once was bitten a big red ant that I think it is called red fire ant. I got a fever although it subsided after taking paracetamol.

@Alexandoy Yes, bite of that particular ant is painful. That's the reaction of your body.

OMG good thing that it has not bitten you else it would be very painful bite you would be getting from it. I do not know how lethal their bite is but I know it can be excruciatingly painful to experience. Although they are harmless to us humans if not disturbed in their territory. They help in making helping the environment cycle anything that are decaying in the soil.
