I muttered a prayer, that my daughter be far from harm. When I got home, she called, to inform me that she was at the library when the advisement about terrorist attack buzzed on the phone. I whispered a prayer of thanks.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Yes, the people were able to overpower the terrorist. The Londoners were quick to protect the city and the citizens. Admirable these ordinary people are. My daughter is impressed by the alertness and the spontaneous reaction to subdue the attacker. Spells courage. London is a very peaceful city.

@eileenleyva Thank goodness all are safe and Manchester is also a place that has been hit by this before. I heard they got the scoundrel that did all that. Spanish news is always vague about where things happen so I knew something had happened but did not know where. I am also sad for the lives lost as London is a beautiful City its tremedously big.

Thank you. My daughter is safe and presently researching her materials through internet at a coffee shop. She said London was quick to secure the city. The people are actually calm when the buzz alert came.

@thelme55 Am glad, too, that nothing bad happened to you and your family that time you were in London. I do pray for my daughter, she's a free spirit, I suppose, and loves diversity.

@eileenleyva the people of London are already used of the alarm signal. A few years ago, I heard twice in a day a bomb alarm when I was in London with my husband and son. It was scary as it happened for the first time in my life. Gladfully, we were safe. I am glad your daughter is safe.

That's a prayer I have to reiterate time and again, for I am indebted so much to our God. My children are my joy.

I believe there are a couple of casualties. Albeit admirable the citizens who spun into action to prevent the terrorist from doing more harm.
