I was a Native American last night

Atleast, in my dream. I've already written out part of it in a creative way. I will have to work on that, but it's not something I plan on sharing here anytime soon, but maybe eventually. I will tell you, however, that the dream was sort of scary towards the end. In the dream I was the daughter of a Native American man and woman, and I wanted to live in my own cabin. It was built for me, and I saw several scenes of day to day things in my minds eye. Then the pets of my Native American parents (remember : dream) all came to my home. I got worried and decided to check their house out. I found them dead in gruesome ways and returned to my own home only to be attacked myself. The attacker was almost Freddy Krueger-esque Do you recall your dreams? I find the more I read, the more vivid my dreams are.

Every now and then yes. But they're quite complicated, so I don't remember all of them. Last night I dreamt about being on some sort of photo safari cruise with friends but I couldn't find my camera. I found it just before I woke up but didn't have time to get it.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Not finding my camera is always annoying, I hope I don't continue looking for it tonight!

That sounds like it was a very frustrating dream.

@Torunn That would not be fun! I have had dreams that continue, but they are rare. It's usually a dream continuing the same night as well, and not another night

What gave you that idea? Oh, wait... Native American refers to the Indian Tribes that were Native to America. The American Ancestors came over and well, did bad things to them.

@Butterfingers It is okay. It's not a history that is talked about a lot anymore, so I understand the confusion.

I do remember them but they are often disjointed.

I have a lot of those types of disjointed dreams too. It's the ones that are very disjointed that I usually can not remember as well.

When I was a little girl, my aunt bought me a dream symbol book. I had already done a lot of research on dreams and how to remember them. I trained myself to recall my dreams by waking up slower and getting plenty of rest the night before. It comes naturally for me now, but there are still stretches of time when I do not remember my dreams at all.
