"Juno" is an independent coming-of-age teen comedy which was released in 2007. Reviews were highly positive; and the film has received many accolades, including an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay. It also did well at the box office with receipts of $231.4 million against a budget of $6.5-7.5 million. CAST Ellen Page - Juno MacGuff Michael Cera - Paulie Bleeker Jennifer Garner - Vanessa Loring Jason Bateman - Mark Loring Allison Janney - Bren MacGuff J. K. Simmons - Mac MacGuff Olivia Thirlby - Leah Candice Accola - Amanda Rainn Wilson - Rollo Valerie Tian - Su-Chin The first scene shows Juno staring at a recliner and drinking Sunny D: "It all began with a chair." Now she's in a convenience store; and it's obvious why she's been drinking the Sunny D. She purchases the third pregnancy test of the day from the clerk, Rollo. They've all been positive. She calls her best friend, Leah, to break the news. Paulie, the boy that impregnated her, exits his house to train with the track team; and Juno gives him the news. Paulie supports Juno's decision to abort; however, she goes to the women's clinic; and there is an acquaintance of hers, Su-Chin, with a right-to-life sign. She tells Juno that the baby could have fingernails. This sticks in Juno's head. She decides against the abortion. Juno meets with Leah to discuss adoption and how to tell her dad and step-mom. She tells her parents; and they are disappointed but supportive. She says that she wants to give the baby to a couple she found in the Penny Saver. She also tells them who the father is (Paulie). If you want to find out what happens next, you will have to watch the movie. It's funny, dramatic and heartwarming; and it's easy to see why Cody won Best Screenplay. I think without a doubt you will enjoy "Juno". This movie is rated PG-13. Photo Credit: Pixabay

I have this film recorded. Admittedly, I've had it recorded for about six years now!
