Day 120
Promise 169
Psalm 9:7 But the LORD shall endure forever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.
8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
If you have been in a court before a judge, you know you face the judgment of the presiding judge. His verdict will determine if you pay a fine, face jail or prison, or will set you free.
David acknowledged there is one Judge who administers His judgment from His throne. God’s judgment is always fair and upright.
As Christians, you face God’s judgment when you enter eternity.
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. (KJV)
Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (KJV)
2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also who love his appearing.
When you confess your sin before God with a sincere heart, God will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV)
In so doing, when you stand before God’s judgment, He will find no record of wrong. You will enter eternity and hear Him say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. (KJV)
As Christians, we all want to hear Jesus say that to us when we stand before Him on our judgment day.
Let’s pray: Father, help me to be faithful to You in everything I say and do. Let Your Word be in me so people will know I belong to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
