My almost vacation

An old friend of mine goes down to her place in Puerto Vallarta every November. We spent a lot of time together at this past Summer's college reunion, and she invited me to come and spend a few days with her there, in Mexico. Sadly, I noticed too late that I have let my passport expire. So we just chatted on the phone while she was there, and she described what she was seeing, hearing, and smelling. She took this picture from her balcony. Maybe next year. Do you have any "ambitious" vacation plans?

@marguicha My step-sister lives in Italy, and I would love to visit her again. But she has "rejected" me for some reason. I'd like to go back to Mexico. And I'd also like to spend some time in France. I guess I'll have to renew my passport.

Went there for my wife's 50th birthday back in March 2016. Beautiful beach. Didn't see much else other than the hotel bar!!! And that reminds me, I need to renew my passport.

@TheHorse I certainly did. Much warmer than the North Sea but not quite as warm as the Caribbean!!

@WorDazza When I was in Graduate School in Santa Barbara CA, I DID body surf in the weaves without a wet suit. But only in the Summer. I have never experienced the true Caribbean. But I have experienced the Gulf of Mexico. The water there is quite "warm."

No, we do not have any ambitious vacation plans. I wonder if to plan a couple of days not far from here, just to relax and celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Big boats scare me. I'm not a fan of cruises. But I would love to spend some time in Hawaii or the Caribbean.

Sorry you couldn't go to Mexico. No vacation plans here. I'd like to go back to the Florida Keys and Everglades. We've been there four times and love it. Would like to move there.
