It still seems so unfair that she was so brutally stolen from those she loves, and yet somehow time moves in, that does not mean the questions stop, and today on her birthday they just seem greater. It’s your First birthday in Heaven Dancing with the Angels Standing at that place Of Grace, We carry the memories With us. Perhaps it wouldn’t Be as bad If innocence hadn’t Been murdered That day But it hurts To know you Did not go Peacefully. Everyone who Knew you Carries a memory Locked in their hearts A reminder Of the life You lived. It’s your birthday And we both Celebrate the Time you had And grieve Over the life You lost.
