Day 122 Promise 171 Psalm 9:12 When he makes inquisition for blood, he remembers them: he forgets not the cry of the humble. Do you feel forgotten, left behind, as though no one cares? David knew God would see a wrongful death. He also knew God heard the cries of the humble. Genesis 4:8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 And the LORD said unto Cain, ‘Where is Abel thy brother?’ And he said, ‘I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?’ 10 And he said, ‘What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother’s blood cries unto me from the ground.’ As Christians, you know God sees everything you do and hears your prayers for justice. Every day we see news about people who go about killing others in schools, malls, on the streets. It’s a never-ending commentary of death. God sees everything people do and brings justice to those who killed innocent people. No one is beyond God’s notice. If you do something wrong, He will let you know He saw what you did and hold you responsible for your actions. Just as He held David accountable when he had Uriah killed in battle so he could take his wife as his own. God sees everything, small or great. David humbled himself and repented of his sin and God forgave him. When you do something wrong, you are to do the same, seek God’s forgiveness and He will forgive you. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (KJV) What is your guilt today? Confess it before God and receive His forgiveness. Let’s pray: Father, You know everything I think and do. Search me and show me my sin so I can repent and receive Your forgiveness. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 5 December 2019 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay. It's good not to be guilty of anything. Staying in when it's cold is a good thing. Have a blessed day.

I have to admit I've been guilty of many things. And I'm not happy about it.

That's why it's good to confess our sins so God can forgive us and wipe our slate clean. I don't know anyone who is happy about their sin. I hope your day is blessed.
