The Giving Machine assists charities worldwide

The Giving Machine is one way to assist the less fortunate around our world

This new item that was introduced by the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Days Saints that has been in service in around 10 cities worldwide for the last three years is a good way for anyone to swipe their card to make a donation to the charity of their choice. The Giving Machine looks like a vending machine that sells snacks and drinks to customers around the world but instead of receiving a soft drink or snack, the swipe of the card is used to assist someone in need around the world. I am hoping that more Giving Machines can be set up around the world so the people who are in need will have a gift given to them courtesy of the cheerful donations from buyers who want to make a difference this holiday season and beyond.

It is doing an average business for now. The amount raised last year by the church was $2.3 million dollars.

A little questionable to me if the donations really go to the needy. Could just be the pocket of the organizers.

That could be true since there are many horror stories of donations not going to assist who needs it most.

@Deepizzaguy I know the UN has set a standard on how to donate, so the donations will not be abused. This Machine feels like this coudn't be trusted.

@eileenleyva I agree with you since a lot of charities are not honest in giving away their money to who really needs it.

Interesting. But I prefer to choose my own charities and the way to do it.

I haven't heard of this. This is a great idea to get some spontaneous donations.
