Love the Bread at Longhorn

Stopped at Longhorn to eat while out the other day. Had a coupon that was about to expire. I love the hot bread and butter they bring out before your dinner.
I had french onion soup and a sweet potato. Was so full from just eating those few times. But the bread is really filling. Enjoyed being out for a change.
Hope you all can get out if the weather cooperates. Sunshine today, it has been beautiful. The cats have enjoyed being in the sunshine as well.
Snapped a photo of the bread. Will share the other food later.
Going to watch a little of the college playoff football games. Something to do on a Saturday afternoon.

nothin' quite like fresh, hot bread'n butter, eh? looks a beautiful loaf. glad ya got to use that coupon 'fore such 'xpired. 'twas outdoors tendin' schtuff here. lots 'f sunshine, not too bad'n the temps.

I love fresh baked bread especially if I do the baking. Stayed in all day as it was cold and windy

I love Olive Garden's bread the most I think. Your meal sounds delicious, and definitely good food for cold weather. I've been thinking about making a nice vegetable soup for dinner soon, or maybe even some beef and dumplings (the family prefers it over chicken and dumplings now).

I, too, love the bread and butter at Longhorn. But nothing beats their steak. Only problem is, I always eat so much bread that I barely have room for the steak when it finally comes out!

@CarolDM My son always gets the salmon when we go! He loves steak, but has braces on right now, so it is nearly impossible for him to eat the steak. I always order Flo's Filet every time I go. Me and my daughter both.

I have to say the college games played out exactly as I thought! I was 0-14 in our office pool for the regular college season.
I was 100% right for every game in the championship week!

When it comes to bread, I'm kind of like Oprah. I LOVE BREAD!! Freshly baked with butter? I don't even need the rest of the meal.

I've always enjoyed Longhorn Steakhouse. I think that's the one. We have two of them with similar names. The food is delicious! 
So, I know you enjoyed it.
