Day 125 Promise 174 Psalm 10:16 The LORD is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land. 17 LORD, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear: 18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress. Everywhere you look, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer because the rich oppress the poor to keep them poor. David knew God would judge those who reject Him and oppress the poor among His people. He knew God would hear their cries for mercy so wicked would cease from life. As Christians, you wait for the day when God will bring justice to your situation. You pray for God to act on your behalf as He promised to do throughout Scripture. God promised the wicked would have their day, if not in this life, then they would when they come before Him and thrust them from His sight and condemn them to hell. God promised He would come to your aid so wicked men wouldn’t oppress you anymore. You will know and see God’s hand of mercy on your life. Do you feel oppressed by people who refuse to acknowledge God or Jesus your Savior? Look to God and He will take care of you. Let’s pray: Father, help me when people come against me and try to oppress me and put me under submission to ways contrary to Your Word. Let me know You fight for me and will defeat those who refuse to acknowledge You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Copyright © 8 December 2019 by Valerie Routhieaux Image courtesy of Pixabay. I don´t like it when the poor people are oppressed by the rich people. It is not fair.

What could be more true. This scripture is a really nice reminder. When you are not in need of money life can be actually pleasant and you feel free, but when the stresses of challenging our money management comes calling it can be as the bible says oppressive.

@Butterfingers I'm sure it will be a good day. The sun isn't even thinking about rising yet. I'm two hours from dawn.
