Thoughts: Nearly $50 For A Streaming Service?

I just read that "YouTube TV" the Netflix type streaming service offered by the internet's most famous video platform is $49.99 a month!
I would never pay such a substantial amount, that $49.99 could be better spent on food for my family, or paying an electric bill, or something else actually important like that.
Would you pay that amount for any streaming service? If so, why?

@myklj999 Hmm. Did not know that. I suppose you will have to let us know what you think of it. I'm still on the fence with all of these streaming services and exclusive content. I still think before you know it we'll have to have 10 or more streaming services just to get the content we want, and by the time we do that we will be right back to paying what we paid for cable.

@myklj999 I will look forward to it. I am interested in cutting the cord if it makes sense. I just worry that a some point it won't make sense. Right now we have Netflix and Prime in addition to cable. But so far I have not seen anything compelling enough to cause me to seriously consider cutting the cord. And some people who HAVE decided to cut the cord have now decided to go back to cable.

I have, but not for Youtube TV.
I think it's a bit pricey, but like others have said you can have six people on the account and split the bill with them if you wanted to do that.

No, because I don't think they could offer enough product I cared about at that price. It's about value for money.

Well it depends....if you can watch everything that is on Netflix, Hulu, and regular cable then maybe (and if you don't already use any of the 3)

If I could get all the channels I get now, I sure would. We are paying an obscene amount to Spectrum each month.
