As I go about my chores, I usually click on the news, or some old clip to listen to. This morning, the laundry is enormous, so I searched for something long to subliminally learn. I watched the beginning, so I'd know the character, and then went about my tasks. Chores done, including feeding the picky canine, I came back for the conclusion of the pi man. He now speaks Icelandic.
Wow. Numbers and letters all in his magnificent brain. Who's implying he is borderline autistic? Gosh, he is a genius! Normal people like me are just envious. One dork too many this world's got.
An extraordinary documentary on the brainpower of Daniel T, the young Englishman who could be the world’s greatest mental athlete. Daniel is not just a calcu...

Anytime a person shows a way of being better than others, there is always someone trying to discredit them by saying that they are sick in the head.

Mean, envious humans. Sigh. I've had enough of them. I think ignoring them is best way to silence them. They are the ones sick in the head/
Am fascinated by the innocence and the sincere, childlike existence of the special people. They actually offer love more than the supposedly normal people do. Thus, I love them more specially.

@eileenleyva I know some of my nephews who have special needs are really sweet people. Thanks for the advice since I have been taught not to react to stupid comments from my haters who call me The Joker since they do understand Latino comedy.

@simplfred Exactly.
Yay. All is not lost. Ha ha. You know. And the world knows, too. Except for Saudi Arabia who made Sophie a citizen.

That is why I cannot agree with the AI getting credit better than the human brain. There exists in our midst geniuses whose minds we need to tap, for the continuity of our human functions. Ha ha ha. Di ba?

Autistic people can also be savants. I think it is neat that you learn while you work.

Yup, thanks for reminding me, the special people are all around us now that I have come to view this as the new reality. The special people actually mingle with us, and I, personally, treat them quite normally. They respond to me well, I guess.
Yes, I love learning. My brain simply loves to think.

@enlightenedpsych2 Thanks for the FYI. Very good point - medication is not the solution for 'paranormal' brain functions. A disease is a malady that needs medication. There is no disease in the Rain Man. The brain functions simply vary from the rest.

@enlightenedpsych2 Tom Cruise isn't much of an actor but his movies are entertaining to watch, especially in MI. Matt Damon couldn't act as well but he was believable in his Bourne series. Ben Affleck is worse and we did wish he was never Batman.
I agree with your hook, line and sinker about how autism must be perceived. The special people need tender loving care and understanding. That is what you gave to that little girl and she responded to you. The affectation other people give are superficial. Yours was a sincere affection, and the little girl saw and felt that.
Happy to know you care for the special people.
