Have you heard about the anonymous donor who paid off $65,000 for Walmart layaways in Anniston, Alabama?
According to a news report, "the only thing he asked was that each person receives this paper - it reads "God loves you. Jesus paid the price."
How amazingly generous! And it's so great that he didn't want anyone to know who he is.
He certainly has the Christmas spirit and knows the true meaning of the holiday.
Merry Christmas, y'all!
ANNISTON, Ala. (WBMA) -- A mystery man walked into the Walmart store in Anniston and offered a gift that left some shoppers speechless and others in tears. He paid off thousands of dollars worth of layaway purchases for several people. Shoppers like Hannah

The Bible says to give in secret, then God will reward us openly.

This sort of thing happens every single year. The sad part is that it is mostly done by the rich who get so lambasted and criticized year in and year out. I always love this kind of story, but I think many people fail to see the generosity of the rich who do this sort of thing.

There really are a lot of wealthy generous people in this country. Even those who are not wealthy can help in smaller ways.

@1creekgirl Very true. I like to think I am very generous. But it is what it is. The rich just get a bad wrap all the time. PEOPLE, rich or poor, can make great contributions to society.

It seems like every year around this time there is a news report of a "secret santa" somewhere who does thing. It warms my heart to know that such wonderful people still exist in this world!
