Busy Today - Surprise Trip

Today is turning out to be quite a busy day for me. Why? We are taking a little trip and I have to get everyone packed up! We are leaving bright and early and hopefully before sunup tomorrow morning.
Where are we going? To Branson, MO! My hubby had taken the week off from work and we hadn't really made any plans since my mom has not been doing great. But after talking it over and getting the green light from her doctors, we are going to head north. It's going to be cold but it will be much warmer in the condo that our house which was built in 1860.
My mom is not thrilled but I don't think anything would thrill her right now.
I'm off to make a last minute grocery store haul. Got to get pet food and snacks for trip and a few groceries.

This is our second trip. The first was a business trip and we didn't do much at all. This time I have my mother with us and she is not liking the cold at all. Maybe this will put her in a better mood for our cold weather down south. We are hoping to get out some tomorrow and also having better weather tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

Have fun! We went to Branson a few times many years ago (my husband's from Arkansas). Hope you guys will be well and have lots of stories to share with us.

@1creekgirl I'd rather go to Hot Springs but he chose Branson. It's okay. We will be limited as to what we can go do with my mom.
