After my husband had passed away my daughter and I shared a mobile home with a woman and her young son. We had 2 bedrooms and a bathroom for our private use. and we shared the rest of the home. She was pregnant and had to move in with family. Therefore my daughter and I got a 2 bedroom and 1 bath townhouse. The landlady told me that she had a little boy and her and her husband had seperated and he bought a townhouse that needed a lot of work on it about 8 miles away. They had got back together and chose to rent this townhouse, live in the one that he bought and fix it up. She also said that her mail was still going to be coming there and since she worked and lived not far away she could come get it often. At that time is when my handicaps from Fibromyalgia and Arthritis started kicking in and she had never gave me even though I had asked for it many times the parking sticker so I could park closer to my house. So I had to park on the road! The house was small, the kitchen counters were not big and that was the only place I had to sit her mail. The stack was getting big and always falling over. I eventually got a box and had to sit it in front of the closet! One day we went to the grocery store that was about 4 blocks up the street and saw her there shopping and I asked her to come by now and get her mail and she refused! Said she was in a hurry to get home. Then a few weeks later I had requested our swimming passes that we didn't get! About a month after that I got the mail, the phone rang and a neighbor child was talking to me and I accidentally opened one of her letter's. It happened to be from the community saying that she had not got a parking sticker or pool passes for her renters because she had not been paying the community fee's. And that the next week our trash service would be stopping too! And unless she paid them $4,600 with in the next week we would be evicted off the property!!!!!!! I called my pastor asking for help and he said they cannot do that and he wasn't going to help! Then I called a real estate company that found me a basement apartment (another horror story), we moved out. The landlord took me to court, which I never knew about because of having the court order sent to my mom's house she had it sent to the house she was renting to us, that she knew we no longer lived in. She then told the judge that I probably wasn't there because I skipped and never paid her rent!!!!!! Hmmmm! I think she used the money to build and fix the other house. About a month later my friend saw the house on market because it was foreclosed on. So that lady didn't pay the mortgage either!!!!!

Believe me I am trying, But no one in the family will go and I babysit 2 , sometimes 3 of my grandkids because there is no one else that can watch them. Plus I have an older mom and uncle that live here too. At one point they were all willing to move to North Carolina, so I was looking for places for us all. Then my daughter-in-law changed her mind. But I am not going to be able to afford to stay here much longer.

@dfollin I'm truly sorry. I come from a large family but am delighted to say that its just me and hubby living with each other- no others bugging or harassing us.

Most of the time it's the tenants who are the disasters. But clearly this woman was off her rocker. People like that irk me.
