Done and Over With.

Yes. I am moving forward. I should have done this along time ago. I cannot remember why did I stick on my old internet provider even their services are slower than the turtles fastest pace. When the internet connection problem started the first week of December, I still called the customer care but every person I talked to said the same things ... they will look over into it. I lost my patience and applied to a new company. Good thing it is now available in our area now. It took me 5 days total -- for the application, payment and installation. It could have been shorter if I was able to pay immediately but it took me a day and a half to pay due to my kid's activities. Now we have fiber connection and it is really fast. I am glad to be back here. How are you all doing?

I envy you that you have a fiber connection. I applied for one once but the company refused to connect me since the location of my unit was a bit far from the main connection and it will need additional cost for the cable to have our unit connected to them. So I will have to stay with my old connection and be contented with the kind of service they have.

@rakski I sm stuck with PLDT for now. Building admin only has exclusive access to them so we’re practically stuck with them for now.

@rsa101 we were in that situation before. But since PLDT has a lot of complaint in our homeowners association, they allow this company to provide also.

What a good job you have found another provider for you. I am also looking for one that does not try to sell me a television package that is way too expensive.

@kixsh101 I understand where it is coming from. I had waited for quite sometime before installing the PLDT in my place.

Globe is offering me LTE but their signal here inside our house is not good so I did not go for that. I was hoping for pldt fiber but they offering me that but they will not change the wiring connection outside and I do not like that.

converge. cheaper than pldt? yes because I got 25mbps download and upload with Php1500 ($15) monthly subscription. I pay Php2000 monthly for pldt with 5mbps download and 1mbps upload

That's a good thing to do. These people have to change their professional attitude and serve the customer well or else they will be out of business soon.

Fiber is the way to go, I had been on fiber since December last year and I love it, my ISP even gave me a free speed boost 2months ago, from my 20 Mbps plan I could now reach 32 to 35 with no added cost on my part.

It's good that our internet provider is true to its promise although there is also a slack time that the access is slow. PLDT is our provider that is connected with our landline phone.
