Illuminating Laurel

Having ventured out into the freezing cold frosty morning to take photos of the meadow at the bottom of the garden, on my journey back to the warmth of my house I noticed that some of my plants and bushes looked stunning beautiful so took a few photos.
This is a picture of the laurel bush at the bottom of the garden. I think the icy crystals from the frost around the edge of the leaves is wonderful. Nature is a most wonderful thing.

It's n ever green and is much loved by insects who can over winter underneath the large waxy leaves.
