I have worked in restaurants and ate in them where the bottles of ketchup, mustard and steak sauce are on the condiments are on the tables and counters. At night or before we would close we would go around to the tables and refill the bottles of condiments that are there. This is approved by the health departments. But when we buy the bottles in the store it says in BIG BOLD letter's REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING ......... huh? Wonder why that is? What do you do at home?

We have A1 steak sauce that is in the cupboard only. It lasts for a long time.

It always stays at the restaurants, but it says on the bottle to refrigerate. That's great that yours stays good for a long time.

@dfollin I didn't know that it is needed to be in the fridge. I will check it out later. Thanks for the info.

@Alexandoy That's what it says on the bottles I get from the grocery store. If it hasn't made you sick yet I don't think I'd worry about it.
