We need an appointment book

We might need to buy an appointment book. I’ve thrashed the ‘taking photos at horse endurance rides’ to death but now we’ve been asked to take photos at a breed show next March. That was bad enough but now an endurance rider involved in a swimming club has booked us for a swimming event in February 2021!! We’ve only pencilled that one in but I guess it’s a good reason to go on living, isn’t it? That’s over twelve months away so who knows what might happen by then.
The weekend after New Year, we’re going to two beaches near here to take photos of people on the beach with their horses. Hopefully we’ll sell a few photos from the website after the event but more importantly, it should be fun. I keep reminding Vince we’re doing this for fun, not trying to get a business up and running. But the money will subsidise the pension so it’s all good. The first beach appointment is at 7.30am so we do make the odd sacrifice for our art!
Have a great day everyone. We’re off shortly to see our financial advisor and to do some last-minute shopping. And we’ve been told we’ve used all our data for the month so if I go missing, you’ll know why.
The photo is of a hemi-parasitic tree, Nuytsia floribunda, otherwise known as a Christmas tree as it flowers around Christmas time.

The tree is beautiful, isn't it? We don't really mind the early mornings. As you say, better early than during the heat of the day. We're online again now but the service provider man is ringing back tomorrow with hopefully an answer. Vince has been on the phone with him for several hours. It seems very strange.

@crazyhorseladycx Carting hay in 115F would be awful. I'm surprised you survived at all. Nowadays it is so much easier with bale-loaders, etc.

@JudyEv That is strange..Maybe there is something running in the background that is eating data. Some sort of process going on you are unaware of. That is all I can think of.

There is no way in the world we should run out but a nice man in India is helping us try to work out what is happening. We've never come near using our allowance and we haven't changed our pattern of usage so I don't know what is going on.

@snowy22315 That's what we think too but we can't work out what it is. Hopefully the technician will have some answers. We thought we had it sorted but we haven't.

And you and Vince thought you were retired! Haha, you're busier now than you ever were when you worked! Your new full-time job is serving as a photographer! But at least you will have fun with that!

@JudyEv And I'm sure it keeps you young at heart as well. Keeping active, even in retirement, is good for the body and good for the soul!

@moffittjc Yes and keeping active can make such a difference to a person's mental health.

@JohnRoberts Yes. They feed off the roots of other trees. I wrote about them in 2017 so I'll add the link here:
The photo above is of the beautiful West Australian hemiparasitic plant known locally as the Christmas tree as its bright flowers appear over the Christmas...

Looks like you've stumbled upon a fun way to subsidize your pension. Get that appointment book...I think you're going to need one

I have a month per page on a Word document. I print that and put it on the fridge then add to it as need be.
