BABY'S FIRST CHRISTMAS - What say you?

I am slowly getting the ornaments on the Christmas tree. Thought I'd do some while cooking so I'm close to the kitchen (potatoes already boiled over once).
I have 2 Baby's First Christmas ornaments, one for each of my daughters. The question I have for you is this: When the children leave the nest and take all ornaments with their names on them, do they take the Baby's First Christmas ornament, or does it stay with the parents?
The way I see it, when they have children, those children will get their own Baby's First Christmas ornaments. I kind of feel the ornament is for the parent.
What do you think? Stay with the parents (and go to the children when the parents are downsizing or gone)? Or go with the children when they leave the nest?

I have no idea. In fact, I have no experience with this. My parents didn't get those types of ornaments and I don't have kids.
