Life is not fair, is it?

I was at the hospital grounds at midnight last night, the party did end a Cinderella closing. I was so hungry I gulped at the lasagna and chicken a la king my daughter saved for me. Oh, that filled my stomach good. Thank you. But as I chewed the delectable party food, my daughter was yacking about the succeeding raffles not being fair. The residents did have three parties with different consultants. As always, the consultants give prize money for the raffle. Guess what? My daughter won the first two. Ha ha. Lucky Girl, as always. When the third raffle prize was called, my daughter was surprised to hear another resident's name, with an addendum that her name was taken away from the raffle bowl, because she keeps on winning the first prize. Oh well, I said, life is really not fair. Grrr. She would have given me the money. Now my nose is fuming. Joke.

Good fortune, huh. Yes, she won again. That lucky girl is always grateful for her blessings and shares the blessings with others. I think that is why she always wins.

@lovinangelsinstead21 Last night, when we came home tired sometime midnight again, she took time to prepare gifts for a teen whose mother worked as househelp. The girl sent message saying she would love to visit us. My daughter loves to give.

Hahaha! Lucky girl! She should have joined the lotto but I’m sure you don’t allow her hehehe! There are really lucky people. I remember members of our cooperative who almost always win in the big door prizes each year. My daughter got lucky this week because she joined a raffle of Whittacker by calling and telling them whom she wanted to give the chocolates to. Early next morning, a courier rang the gate buzzer to deliver a small bag of assorted Whittacker chocolates for me :)

Life was more than fair to your daughter. After winning 2 prizes she should be grateful for her fortune and happy for the other person who won.

Just that, the raffle was not played fair and square. And if my daughter had won that again, as always, she would share and treat every one.
