Time for my December shower

When I'm up at the cabin in Montana, I don't shower until my first night on the road, heading home. The last couple of days, I haven't had time to shower, as I either had to get to work quickly or (yesterday) was just too dang lazy.
Fortunately, my sweat glands secrete mostly ambrosia and nectar, so I don't get stinky. And @Vandana7 has pointed out how my sheets always look pristine, even if I haven't washed them in a few months.
Are you one of those who feels your day hasn't "officially" started until you take a shower. I'm usually that way. My other question: How often do "civilized" people change their sheets?

Colin! ..... My goodness. I think you are immune to your own .... nectar. Around here we do not call it nectar but funk.
I can go without a full bath for a couple, three days if I am camping, but I do the honor of wiping my bottom end daily, to not get "the funk." At home I bathe daily. Sometimes, rarely, I skip a day.
I change my bed sheets weekly as long as I don`t sweat on them, if I sleep in the heat and sweat, more than once a week, hence, not to "get the funk."
BUT........
I am not judging, you ask how I did things here and my own personal habits, everyone lives as they see fit.

I'm normally like you. Don't shower when camping but don't feel a "work day" has started unless I shower. In Montana, I'll boil some water and give my self a butt and pits sponge (paper towel) bath now and then. In actuality, I mostly smell like wood smoke up there (in Montana).

You know people can't smell their own body odor, right? You can't smell it, but everyone else can! lol
I generally shower daily, but every now and then I'll skip a day for one reason or another. But I usually won't go more than 2 days without showering.
I change my bed sheets weekly, unless of course my gf and I are actively engaged in "indoor sports" in the bedroom, if you know what I mean.

I kind of enjoy mountain passes in Winter. But there's always the risk of a freeway getting shut down. My vehicle is 4-wheel drive (when I select it)--that helps when it's really bad. I'm still here in California--just living like I do when I'm up there.

I like to take my shower in the evening. I don't like to get into bed (which is now my recliner) "dirty". I used to change the sheets once a week. Love the "Psycho" pic. I remember when that movie came out everyone was afraid to shower for months after.

@LindaOHio That's one of my favorites. It's weird seeing Raymond Burr be the "bad guy." I used to watch Perry Mason with my dad.

My day need not start with a shower but definitely ends with one. On a regular day I take shower twice in a day.
And for sheets, I have an obsession of changing them weekly. You can call me suffering from OCD. My husband feels that way.

@arunima25 Bed ticks? Is that why I'm scratching my head all the time? Or am I just perpetually confused?

I take a bath in the evenings. How often depends on what I have been doing and what time of year it is. I have been known to take 2 or 3 in a day. The sheets are usually washed once a week.

@TheHorse I don't know. I'm glad you find it more reasonable. I thought about changing them this weekend, but I'd be putting the flannel winter sheets on. Not yet. We're in the 40s this week of Christmas and all my snow is melting. It will be a green Christmas this year. So, maybe in January, I'll get the winter sheets on the bed.

So you SAY your sweat glands only secrete ambrosia and nectar. Ahem. But I usually have never been a morning showerer. I prefer to do it after work. To me taking a shower in the morning is sort of like making the bed just before I go to sleep.
