Running from a crazed man

The story picks up in a park at an event put on by the police force. It is a community service event for recent offenders.
A tall, skinny man wearing a suit is standing in a line among those who have recently finished their community service. He's been waiting for a long time, seemingly oblivious to the eyes on him from across the street. If there was a list of offenders who have the least reason to be there, he would be towards the top.
The person watching him does not care for any such list, nor do they really care what the man did or didn't do to deserve this punishment. Their only concern, nay, their only mission is to get under the skin of this man. To terrify him in such a way that he will never sleep without keeping one eye open. He will never leave the house without being very aware of his surroundings.
Of course the tall man knows nothing of this. He's now reached the top of the line and shook the hand of the police officer, receiving his papers proving he's done his community service and has repaid his debt to society. He looks around and briefly locks eyes with his watcher, but thinks nothing of the unwavering gaze aimed his way.
He makes his way towards the exit of the park, turning right towards home where his wife and children await him. A home that is only a short walk away, a home he will never see again.
Written by me and based off of a dream I had. There was A LOT more to it, of course.
What's the most terrifying thing to happen to you lately? Or at all?

Well, let's say that what happened to me this morning has been weird and I am continuously thinking to this. My husband came in the bedroom this morning at 7 am to check if I was well. I always get up at 6 am or a little earlier, he was concerned that I was not well. I woke up and I was surprised that it was so late, I tried to reach for my slippers, but I could not find them. I looked under the bed, NOT there. I went out to the corridor and my slippers were in front of the computer room and they were "warm"!!! But I was sleeping in my bed! Who has moved my slippers there?

The fact that you woke up later leads me to believe that you could have been sleepwalking. Your slippers were at the door to the computer room, is that a habit you have when awake?
Of course, it's also possible that a spirit is playing tricks on you, and that they moved them instead.
Several people in my family experienced sleepwalking and on those instances, they have been known to sleep in past their normal wake time

@Tampa_girl7 It is creepy, I spent five minutes searching for my slippers and I cannot believe what happened. I am a bit scared.

My dreams are often like an action movie, even if I have to piece it together after because the dream is very weird.

@Nevena83 No, not always. I mean, there are sometimes that I am. However, most of the time I am aware that it is a dream. There have been times that I thought it was so real that I woke up terrified and couldn't get back to sleep right away.

That wasn't even the half of it. The guy (who was me in the dream) kept getting followed by this crazed dude in a truck, and somewhere along the way he (the guy) had found his son and had to protect him alongside his own self.
I may write more about it later if I can still recall it, I'm about to head to the store now.

I just have to get more focused on writing them down. However, more than anything, I just enjoy writing them out here for all of you guys.

You should try and publish some of your dreams.

I used to write them down, and I did have one unedited book on KDP at one time. I've been going back and forth on possibly writing on wattpad or on reddit again though. I feel like I need a lot more practice before I start trying to publish.

I appreciate the compliment. I wouldn't want to do that because they would take my dreams and spin them in ways I wouldn't like.
