Crazy Crowds Everywhere Today

Went out to pick up a few things at Kroger. And so did everybody else! The lines were crazy long.
Cut my shopping list short. Had to stop and get bird seed. Not too bad. Went right past Wal Mart. No way I was going in there.
And yes, the final stop was the buffet. The famous $5.00 buffet. It was delicious and not crowded for a Monday.
Finally back home and am so glad. I may not get out again for day. I do not like the crowds.

I think the day before Christmas Eve is the worst day for crowds and I try to avoid it. Today will be better as I think we only get a few last minute shoppers. Most people like to get it all done before Christmas Eve.

@CarolDM Yes my grandaughter informed me today that she needed two more presents. I thought I had finished!

It's nuts out there! It will be even worse today! What did you have at the buffet? We made cabbage rolls yesterday (Monday). We're getting too old. We were both stiff and sore by the time we were done. lol BUT they were good!

oh, ya couldn't 've paid me to go to a store this week, lol. talked the hubs 'nto doin' the whole weeks worth 'f shoppin' fer critters'n humans so's there'll not be the need. made lots 'f heavy liftin' fer me, but 'tis worth 't. particularly with bad weather headed this way.

Yes this one I found a year or so ago. All you can eat for $5.00 fish, chicken, pork, veggies, bread, salad, dessert... on and on. And it is ALL homemade! Here is a photo of the last time I went....
