My brother came by this afternoon and fixed the heater that he thought he'd fixed last time. He said that it didn't work because he hadn't put the door back on right or something...he would know better than me, but it evidently was something simple. He also said that he'd be by to pick me up (I don't recall if he said at "two" or "noon"--I'm guessing it was "two") to go to his girlfriend's son and daughter in law's house--for dinner (I'm also guessing). I have all of my presents wrapped and whatnot--I don't have a hostess gift, but maybe I can find something around here that's suitable or make a trip to the store in the morning. So, things are a little warmer in the house, any way, and that's good.
