Outdated Laws

Quite some time ago I posted a few old laws that are still on the books in various states. Here are more:
Washington - It is prohibited to harass Bigfoot.
Massachusetts - No beer is to be given to hospital patients.
Connecticut - A pickle must bounce when dropped from one foot high. (Actually this makes sense because if a pickle is old or unfit for consumption, it will not bounce, it will just plop. I wouldn't care for a pickle that had been bounced on the floor though!)
Alaska - Flamingos are not permitted in barber shops.
Idaho - It is prohibited to gift a box of chocolates weighing more than 50 pounds.
Hope you enjoyed them!

What a 50 pound limit on chocolate in Idaho! I won't be going there!

Are there even any flamingoes in Alaska? That one seems really silly!
I wonder if Idaho banned chocolates over 50 pounds because they wanted you to give potatoes as a gift instead?
Remind me to never get sick and hospitalized in Massachusetts!

@LindaOHio But I could totally see Idaho passing that law specifically because it's the potato state! haha

50# of potatoes just doesn't hold a candle to 50# of chocolate...even though I like potatoes.
