Lazy Sunday Afternoon

It's been a lazy day here with on again - off again rain. It was actually muggy this morning with a temperature of 72 and a very high humidity. I had to turn the ceiling fans on in the house!
I am just chilling this afternoon. I have The Titanic running on television and I am going through notifications here. I figured this was a good time to stop and make a post. We have some thunderstorms getting close now and you never know if the satellite will go out or not so getting this little lazy day post up.
I am hoping we miss the brunt of this storm because a weather alert for our area was supposed to expire at 4 pm CST. It is now after 4 and no booms so maybe we made it.
I'll be back later on to catch up on some reading and hopefully get another post up.

It was so warm here today in north Florida that I had to turn on my A/C inside my house! It was supposed to rain all day today, but it was hot and sunny. I think the rain is going to roll in tonight and all day tomorrow.
I didn't do much today. Just pretty much laid around, and watched football of course.

@wolfgirl569 I think that is the one we get on Thursday. Lots of rain and thunderstorms promised. They are rolling in one after the other. Grumble...….

@LindaOHio I'm ready to be done with winter. I need warmth! Need to hurry up and get rid of that other house so we can buy some land and camp or build one. That can be the winter hide out and hubby can hunt to his heart's desire. We just need internet. I can't live without internet!!

Yesterday was just as usual, but no need to clean...that's all done and waiting for the New Years. Got to cooking and marinating special foods for the New Year's celebration. Just one more food to get tomorrow the eve, Sekihan a type of mochi rice with red beans.

No just myself. Got traditional foods to have for New Year's and first day prayer blessing called Hatsumode so going to church on the first too. It's just like having something green on the table for new years to attract wealth and prosperity for the new years.

Church was great this morning--came home and haven't done much of anything--I'd like to go and see if I can start on Chapter Four of the story I'm writing. Most of the Christmas decorations are put away--I have one more Nativity scene to go.

oh how i dream 'f 72 degree weather, lol. 'nly got to 36 here today. thankful the winds didn't howl today. fingers crossed ya miss those storms, hon.

@crazyhorseladycx I get that. I don't watch NFL just because of the BS. Over celebrations for TD's, payments for endorsements, and what topped it off was kneeling for the national anthem. Yet they say it has nothing to do with the flag --it is for equal rights. Nah. Then protest some other way, fool!

@kareng football. i despise football. i've no desire to listen to those announcers, nor watch those o'er paid fella's run 'round the field. nor the idiots who pay those spendy prices to be there 's spectators. i'd rather watch golf. 'r paint dry.

Oof that is so warm! It has been super cold here all day. I think we might be getting a freeze warning tonight as well. Sunday as been going alright! Trying to get back into the swing of things.
