12/30/19 - Computer/Printer

I was having problems with the video portion of my new computer. The Dell tech went into my computer and downloaded some drivers that he said should solve the problem because there was nothing wrong with the hardware...however, my screen started going black again yesterday and then started flashing...again. I don't feel like dealing with Tech Support today. Maybe tomorrow if it keeps up. My husband has moved my new printer onto the computer desk; and today I will play with it a bit and see if I can set it up and install the software. How is your day going? Photo Credit: Pixabay

Today is going well, thank you. I assume you have windows, go on their site and see if there is any updates for your computer and download any updates needed and any new drivers it's pretty easy and might fix your issue. If it is desk top try to disconnect and reconnect your monitor and see if that helps.

The Dell tech already downloaded all the software, including drivers, that my computer didn't have. They insist it's not a hardware problem....but I don't know.

I had one do that one time and it had a bad video card. Hope you find the problem soon.

I'm just worried that it IS a hardware problem; and it's going to bite me in the behind at a later date after the warranty has expired.
