Home again and a double rainbow

We are home again after spending four nights at our friends’ house in Yallingup, south-west Western Australia. The house is quite close to the coast so was quite a bit cooler; a welcome respite after the rather hot weather we’ve been experiencing over the Christmas period.
Yesterday, we even had showers and the most incredible double rainbow. I couldn’t capture the complete rainbow although we could see it arching right across the sky. I think Vince has a panoramic photo of it which I’ll try to put up one day.
I have a lot of notifications and posts to read so I’ll you in the comments/ responses/posts. Tomorrow morning early we’re off to the beach to take photos of people swimming their horses.
I hope you had an enjoyable start to the New Year and thanks to everyone who supports my discussions. I really enjoy chatting to you all.

Gee that was one nice vacation you had, 4 days in a friend's house. I wish we have a friend like that who would invite us for a short vacation.

Double rainbow feels so great. Also rains bring good respite from the extreme heat.
I was reading about the massive damage caused by bushfires.
A Tennis event in Canberra too has been cancelled and so too have been some other events.

@JudyEv
Let us hope that the rains would douse the fires.

I'm sure one day you will. They are not all that rare.
