Quite amazingly you survived
You were a rebel of your time
Love came to you both like a shooting star
Reaching out brightly, going up very far
Although you lost him that tragic night
He was always and forever your guiding light
Love happens like that going off another tangent
Another time but happened right then
If you had not both been on that boat
Love might never have happened
But who really knew then?
You followed your hearts
Bless you both.
This is a film I just cannot bear to watch the end part its way too sad and gloomy and dreary.
I watched to the bit where they found the vintage car to take refuge in and that was it.
I was born near to where the Captain of the Titanic was born there is a statue of him in Lichfield and the anchor of the Titanic was forged and taken through the streets of Netherton.
Its not a story I like to dwell on but the love story that grew between them can be so.
I love the Di Caprio part and Kate Winslet my Grandmother was something like that very outspoken she was in spite of the limitations put upon women then at that time.
Titanic chain was forged in Stoke on Trent forgot to mention that never ever would I want to visit where it went down much love and light to them all I respect all seafaring men.

I wish that they could have seen their love story out in real life as she survived and he did not.

I was wondering if this ship was ever blessed like the others you know there is no information about it as such on her maiden voyage it might have made for more safety like there is now.
It sounds silly to some but to me it is not makes a lot of sense.

Yes I remember that he said that but I was thinking back to the time she the Titanic would still have been in the Naval part before they launched her.

@lovinangelsinstead21 There was a boast from the owner that not even God could sink that ship. God proved otherwise. It's sad, but you don't mess with God.

Not likely but I respect all seafaring men as my ancestors were in the sea all the time or in the coal mines too very hard working people.
My second cousin very young lost his life at sea.
I can see what you mean I had no idea until I read about him that he was born in the same area.
