Paddling in the stream.

When I used to go up to my Grandma Brown's house we used to go up onto Gentleshaw Common. I remember there was a lot of heather up there. But nearer home, just by the road, there was a stream. You got to it by crossing a style. Me and my brother used to take off our socks and shoes and go paddling in the stream. It was lots of fun.

How nice! Did you see lots of wildlife by or in the stream too?

That must have been fun. I have always been attracted to water and streams as a child and still today I enjoy paddling in a canoe in the lakes here
